What sitcoms do we want released in 2009?

Hi everyone!

What sitcoms do we want to be released in 2009?

Here are my choices !Take Note BBC and Distributors

2 Point 4 Children Series 4-8
Birds of a Feather Series 2-9
Watching Series 3-7
Surgical Spirit Series 2-7
The Upper Hand Series 1-7

What's that?

Not really a sitcom but a comedy drama I guess: Paradise Heights / The Eustace brothers featuring Charles Dale, Neil Morrissey and Ralf Little. The BBC website describes it as a drama but I remember it being pretty funny. In Paradise Heights they are running a warehouse and in the Eustace brothers they travel around in their builders van and refurbish places e.g. country pub, mental hospital etc.

The same one I ask for every year:

Christ Griff, that show was rubbish. Trust you to like it . . .

Only kidding. I'd say you're spot on. I loved it when it was on, and on re-watching it last year it was as funny and sad as I remember.

Rumour has it the BBC hated it and as it did so badly it's unlikely to get a release.

Ooh - where did you manage to rewatch it? Was it on UK Gold or something?

I got it from a torrent site a while ago, and made sure I burnt it onto a disc.

I don't think it's ever had a repeat showing has it?

Griff, it's out in November.

Mrs.Merton And Malcolm

I liked the episode where some little kid came round to 'play'. He kept beating Malcolm at everything, but eventually Malcolm wins. Great stuff.

No problemo. You should be able to sign up for notifications for releases of your favourite shows once the site relaunches. :)

Thanks for clicking that link, Griff.

You've just helped contribute towards the BSG Christmas Do

You're welcome. I wonder how much the BSG get out of the 9.99 I just paid.

Not nearly enough.

Mrs Merton and Malcolm was really funny I thought. I remember watching Paradise Heights and The Eustace Brothers and remember finding them really good aswell.
I have a big list of what I want to see come out in the next coming year. Here are the main three though:
The Fosters: The Complete Series
Don't Drink the Water: The Complete Series
A Sharpe Intake of Breathe: The Complete Series.

I'd like to see Hugh And I and Citizen James released.

Amongst many hundereds of others.
