Didn't get in NR, but I'm hoping Treason used it this weekend.

Seems every song I choose has recently been used Was reminiscing before, found Orville's famous song on youtube, then realised it could be used for the XL debacle (dunno if the Eurostar bit worked too)

The only problem is that it might be difficult to perform.

Although, if you had an Orville puppet on stage, you could easily have someone offstage with a mic doing his voice.

I've answered my own doubt there.

Doesn't matter. I'll bet LOADS of people have done versions of, for example, Golden Brown as Gordon Brown.
There are loads of parody songs of the same songs.
My Orville song is about something different so it doesn't matter anyway.

Erm..parody . Did search for "Charlie Chalk" though. Just have a memory from childhood where there was this rabbit smashing up stuff saying "I'm Bored." Can't find that clip but there WAS the rabbit in it!!

Got another song being written about Eurostar - though I'm actually using a good song for that. Just irritating because my gf's been stuck in France. Though on the bright side, more time to write.
