Colin Firth? Hmm. That's a tricky one...

Tricky? Blimey.

I couldn't - the pages were stuck together.
I remember watching Coupling DVD extras, where the show's creator explain they use only the real laughter, but might sometimes choose it from different takes (but always from the same place). For example, the laughter after one particular joke during the first take is very long... while during the sixth take it dies down too quickly. And for the pace reasons they would choose, e.g., the laughter from the third take.
I remember seeing a program about Friends, where they basically said the same thing - for example, a good joke (or a joke this audience finds extremely amusing) might provoke a minute of laughter, all of which cannot be used, of course, so they edit it.
The particular case was Rachel's quip "This is not marriage, Ross. This is world's worst hangover!"
I personally do not mind laughter, canned or not. For professional reasons, I even prefer it - if there is a laughter, and I don't see the reason for it, I have missed popculture reference or have not understood it, and I need to find it.
Audience (s)laughter. Yes please.
