Darling Song 2

Don't think it's nearly as good as my other Darling song but the best I could do with it.

TO THE TUNE OF OH! DARLING BY THE BEATLES: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8DVI5Cc1s0 (for tune)

Oh! Darling, please believe me
There's no real cause for alarm
Relieve me speak to the public
Just use a bit of that charm

Oh! Darling, if you leave me
I'll never make it alone
Who else can speak to the bank, ooo
Who else can sort out a loan?

When you told me
I wasn't wanted anymore
Well you know I nearly broke down and cried
When you fluttered
Those big black bushy eyebrows
Well you know I never guessed they were dyed

Oh! Darling, if you leave me
I'll never make it alone
Can't deal with angry pensioners
Who need to heat up their homes
Believe me Darling

When you told me
You didn't need me anymore
Well you know I had to swallow my pride
When I found out
That the Lehmann Brothers were poor
I really felt the economy slide

Oh! Darling, please believe me
I'll never let you down
Oh, believe me darling
Believe me when I tell you, ooo
There's no real cause for alarm

Hehe! Outstanding...

Thanks Tommy. Don't think it's got a chance anywhere but don't like to leave a song suggestion unexplored :P

Thanks to whoever renamed the thread - Paul?

I preferred Darling 1. Some funny bits in it but I only know Beatles classics so the song choice didn't really work for me.

I was listening to Abbey Road (my fave album) the other day and I was thinking about doing an Oh Darling song.

But, as a lot of people might not know hat song, I didn't bother.

Great parody though. :P

Yeah wasn't one I'd heard before. Why not have a go and post it, sure you could do a better job.

Like the last song on that album. Think Rubber Soul might be my fave album though

I never even started writing it. I only got as far ad "hmm, that could work" but then I moved along to something else.
