Somebody help me name this kids show!!!!

Okay, I think it was late 70s. It was about these animals that were a band, and each week thay played the current tunes at the time. They were like guys dressed up with these huge animal heads on. I think there was a cheetah on bass and the lead guitar was played by this blue rastafarian looking lion. I suppose they were kinda in the vein of Banana Splits? The theme song went something like "Into the starship and off we go..."

Over to you.

Banana Splits.

Nope, read my thread again.

The Hair Bear Bunch?

Nope.

I'm not imagining it. It was on Channel 4s 100 Greatest Kids Programmes. Adam and Joe said a few words about it.

What country is it from?

I bet it was just the muppets or something.

Ha.
