INT. FAMILY HOME - DAY
A mother goes into her teenage son's room to strip his bedding for it to be in washed and after making up a fresh bed, she brings the dirty bedding down to the kitchen but just as she is loading it in, she notices a few giveaway signs that he might have been tossing AND tossing and turning during the night!
MOTHER
(disgusted)
Ewww, the dirty little sod.
So trying to touch them as little as possible, she carefully stuffs his sheets into the washing machine.
After setting the dial, she then leaves for work and is next seen in her job as a veterinary nurse.
INT. VETERINARY OPERATING ROOM - DAY
As she is clearing up after an operation and packing the equipment away, a wicked smirk comes across her face as she has an idea, prompted by something unseen so far.
INT. FAMILY HOME - NIGHT
Mother looking into son’s room.
MOTHER
Goodnight darling!
Before closing her son's door after hearing.
SON
(through gritted teeth)
Yeah 'night!"
The final view is an overhead shot of the son laying in bed, showing him wearing on each hand, those conical collars that they put around cats and dogs necks to stop them clawing at themselves!
