The Doors were fantastic though. The End (which I believe stems from one of Morrisons poems, as they probably all do) is awesome.
You're both correct though. Poetry sucks.

Quote: Griff @ September 6 2008, 6:40 PM BSTI think you'll find John Lennon wrote poetry and had books of it published? And didn't Jagger recite it on stage during his hippy phase? None of which was as bad as Jim Morrison's poetry which can make strong men vomit.
All true, though to describe what Lennon did as poetry is pushing the definition. But none of them went quite so far as Townsend in allowing themselves to be patronised into thinking they were a significant literary figure.

Except mine.
The Beatles are THE all-time greatest band, in my opinion. I consume everything from bootlegs to rare and not-so-rare.

Check prices and auction results on eBay?
Shouldn't they have numbers, on the center somewhere, that can be used to identify them in, say, Record collector magazine (or similar).
Yep, in the vinyl centre is the matrix number - usually hand written, usually holding an 'A' and a 'B' for either side. You can check online for the edition per matrix number. It was years ago when I last had to check though.
Try googling the two matrix numbers. I think that's how I found it last time.

*Slaps Stan hard around the chops*
My fave is People are strange
and this is The End as refered to by Aaronski.
I liked Fatboy Slim's Bird of Pray(prey?), which I think was also the catalist for his divorce from Zoe Ball?

You'll probably know The End from Apocalypse Now.
