After You've Gone - Series 3 Page 9

I watched this for the first time ever tonight.

I didn't like it! A lot of the jokes were thuddingly obvious and why are they re-using the 'idiot' character from Two Pints? Seems a little lazy.

However, there were positives. I thought the last 3 minutes were quite good. A couple of funny call backs and a good end. It's just a shame that the preceding 25 minutes had been so poor.

It's not my favourite show or anything, but I liked it. (Even though I did miss a bit to see Liam die.)

It wasn't the funniest episode they've had, but I still really enjoyed it, and it somehow felt a bit more 'serious' in nature than other storylines have been. So all round very good IMO. :)

I hear that next week's is meant to be a new turn for the show, taking it in a bit of a different direction. Really looking forward to that one. Sounds acetastic.

Oooh.

Alex comes out!

Probably not...

Well you never know!

Just watched it and it was amusing but i agree it was a more serious episode, do think Alex is getting camper as the show goes on.

Enjoyed it, probably the best episode I have seen! Are the first and second series on par with the present one? I haven't seen them.

More or less, yes. I'd definitely recommend giving them a watch. :)

A fairly average episode I thought... but all was made up for at the end with the funny scene in which Jimmy was caught drinking the 'alcohol'

A reminder to everyone that the show returns tonight for the second outing in its rightful Friday-night-lineup slot. I am informed that this episode is particularly good, so quite looking forward to it. :)

Caught the last five minutes or so of this today; I don't know what the rest of the episode was like, but I did actually find myself laughing. More than once. I don't know if I should feel worried or not.

I only caught bits of it as I was cooking at the time, but I was laughing a lot at what I did see. I'll play it back later tonight, but I was doing actual out-loud laughs, rather than just a snigger or an amused smile, as is most often the case.

Bravo.

The last five minutes was the best bit. I still think Alex is the only good thing in the show.

Alex presenting himself to the family in full LOTR regalia was hilarious, he was also laugh out loud funny in the bus stop scene! I would say he is destined for BIG things in the future.

Very good episode this week though it was filled with innuendos which made it even better. Alex was excellent in this week as was Jimmy in those costumes. Funniest moment had to be Jimmy at the theatre shouting: 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!' and also the line 'Playing with my Bilbo' made me laugh very loud.
