The show's cancellation was announced 2 or 3 weeks ago. Whenever it was it actually happened.

Never thought I'd find myself saying this, but that must have been an honour.
After You've Gone wasn't the best sitcom ever but it was quite funny and certainly better than the other major family sitcom i.e. My Family. The Christmas special was far better than the My Family one which was really quite boring. Why couldn't they have cancelled My Family instead?
I think My Family just got more consistently high viewing figures. Pity. Hopefully something new will come along and strike that same kind of mainstream chord.
I remember watching all three series at the time and I loved them.
I'm currently watching the Series 2 DVD, you forget how funny a some things are. It was a great comedy! Just a shame that a fourth series never came.
