This is one of the most serious cases of adult abuse I have ever seen. Client B suffers from a motor neuron impairment, imbalance and possible seizures. He requires 24 hour a day care and support. Mr A was happy to be primary carer and receive the direct payments.
But he used Bs speech impediment, and propensity for accidents to carry out a sustained campaign of physical violence. No one falls down the stairs breaking both their arms twice a day.
