I'm learning Spanish...

but I'm struggling with remembering vocabulary, grammar and conjugations. Are you a linguist? and if so do you have any sage memory advice you could pass on?

Muchas gracias.

Cool

I'm a cunning linguist, etc.

Robyn's good with Spanish. Stick around for a couple of hours; she should be online then.

*Waits around patiently whilst whistling a happy tune and surfing the internet*

Language is a funny old thing. I was well intrigued to discover that 'por favor', pronounced 'faBor' is Spanish for 'please', whereas 'please' is what we Englishers say when we want a 'favour'.

Amazing really.

No tengo muchas time to hang around. I shall be back soon.

Tequila.

I'm getting married in Cuba in May and I've been told I only need to know one word "cerveza"

Cuba? Blimey. Is your Missus a Commie?

Nope...not that I know of. Just a fan of warm weather and All inclusive resorts.

Not convinced about communism as a whole but we could do with a bit of zero tolerance over here.

<Old fart rant>

Have you tried Chernobyl?

I would..but it's not very warm and I don't think there are any all inclusive resorts at the moment.

Somewhere between communism and capitalism there's a middle ground.
