No Heroics - Series 1 Page 3

I didn't notice any swearing!

I do like the electro voice she uses to control machines.

She swore quite a bit, I think. Dunno why it's a problem.

I laughed a couple of times, but it was a bit of a letdown. I'll watch a few more though.

"XXL". In reference to "XXL Thursdays"; ITV2's version of BBC Two's "Thursdays Are Funny".

Or so we're told.

Blimey, I would never have guessed! I thought the programme was sponsored by some kind of extra strength lager! :O

Watchable at most. Had nothing to say, it was totally linear, had very little laughs and was mainly just a collection of standard vocals tics and embarrassment.

Devoid of good jokes, and was painfully unimaginative.

Worth watching just to see the brunette's teeny-tiny outfit mind.

Did nothing to improve ITV's reputation for comedy output

I liked last nights episode, it was quite funny- qunny.

Pretty bog standard. That said, considering ITV doesn't really have a culture of producing sitcoms anymore, that's probably quite an achievement.

I thought it was a vast improvement. Could have been a different programme. Had me laughing a lot - and loudly! Very glad I stuck with it, and finally vindication of my "watch every episode" ethos.

I'm watching it mostly because of James Lance's character now.

You must be a very proud man today...unless the rest of the series is shit, then that's your ethos up the spout again.

Not really. It just allows me to make an informed decision. If the rest of the series is shit, then it's shit. If it's not, then I'll have seen it whilst others have long given up.

Laughing out loud

I thought they missed a trick not having them fuse together in the toilet. But it was OK. Better than last weeks.

It's still barmy. It's like saying the only way I can make a truly informed decision about the best bread to buy is if I buy every single brand of bread out there. And then eat them all.

Which is entirely true.

I give up.
