Ruth Cohen has died aged 78. She is notable for making more appearances in Seinfeld than any other actor, apart from the four main sides. Cohen played the role of the cashier in Monk's Cafe in almost every episode. The character was eventually named "Ruthie Cohen" after her. However, she mainly appeared as an extra. She is only credited twice.
