Just realised Bussell left at 10,000.

Was this his target?

It was the point at which he decided to call it a day. He felt as though he had spent too much time on here. Hopefully, he'll still attend BCG meets.

I wish I could be that disciplined to leave here.

You're part of the furniture, Chappers! Don't go!

Can't believe I've made almost twice as many posts as Bussell. Maybethat's why he's succesful.

Maybe 20000 will be a good incentive to leave? :)

I wonder if the people who leave to do something more useful with their time actually do something more useful with their time. Or just end up pissing it away on something equally pointless. They should pop back and tell us.

I wonder...

What can be more useful/delightful than spending life's valuable time on BCG?

Greensville is the most successful former member I can think of but he never flounced off like the rest.

Was he mainly a critique poster?

He was in the Virgin Train ads, plus he was in the little sketches on Grumpy Old People or whatever that show was called. I think he was in Not Going Out too.

Ohhh yes, I do remember him now. My memory for peoples' names is rubbish.

The bloke who wrote Lunch Monkeys is probably the most successful. In terms of getting a commissioned sitcom anyway.

My money's on Matt Stott to make the next big splash.

Makes sense, it's lovely weather for a dip in the pool.
