Why would you want to preserve how it is at the moment?

Righty-O.
Convert it to .pdf as suggested. Then there appear to be plenty of PDF to word converters available around the place, including some free trials/shareware stuff.
That two-step process might get it into Word for you.

It's when the Comedy Unit open the document up in some other application at their end it goes all wonky.
What she needs to do is export it from WordPad into something else that they can read more easily (a PDF, or a Word document), using an export process that preserves her formatting.
Did we find out if you it was being saved as Rich Text Format which SHOULD read the same in everywhere?
Would RTF retain the formatting, though?
PDFs are editable, just not with the Reader app. As the name would suggest. I'm sure TCU have the software to do so.
I bet they're using some shitty Mac business though, hence the funky formatting they're seeing.
I've no idea! I know that the cant view my Microsoft Works format hence the WordPad, Note Pad doesn't preserve formatting and if worse comes to worse I will do it again, but its worth noting the time that goes in to this is heartbreaking!
Cheers for everything guys, I will wait and see what they say to me.
xxx You're all wonderful!
Kim, have you tried the pdf thing? I'm curious whether it has worked.
Otherwise we'll surely be able to find another way.
Kim. E-mail me the file.
DONE!

I have a question about Firefox. I downloaded the new version and now several sites including Wikipedia have text that look like gibberish. Can anyone tell me how to change this. It's not just Wikipedia it's others that seem to be mainly text based like Craigs List ect..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDITED: When I go to copy paste the text it turns from gibberish to English.
That sounds like you're installed it using the wrong character set, as it's remapping it to English when you paste.
Try a re-install and select 'English' when it asks for it and see if continues to do the same.
