Good Writing Podcasts

Hi, could you point me in the direction of some good ones? I got the creative screenwriting mag one and the On the Page one. Any others you know of?

Laughing out loud That will be a 'NO' then! Cool

There's the Shooting People podcast but I don't know how often that's updated.

Thanks for that David, looks like just what I was after. Are you with Shooting People at all? I was thinking of signing up.

I am. If memory serves, it's only about a tenner for a year's subscription, so you might as well sign up.

Containsnuts, our very own Martin Holmes had a rather successful podcast, it had a good ammount of hits on myspace... "It's the end of the world" not too shabby.

One before that but the name escpaes me.

Yeah, I listened to a few of those. They were more comedy show podcasts rather than Q&A, interviews, advice etc. Thanks for that anyway.

Could be a gap in the market, if you have the time.

This is a great podcast featuring interviews with American TV/Film writers:

These are some really interesting sources. Thanks!

I'd also suggest an itunes search for the USC School of Cinematic Arts Conversations With...Speakers Series. The Stephen J Cannell one in particular is fantastic.

Depending on the sort of writing you mean, my new podcast "The Comedian's Comedian" might be a starting-point.

I'm a stand-up comic, and interview headliners one at a time, in depth, about how they write their material.

Like "Inside The Actor's Studio" but for comedians.

You can download or stream it from the link on my profile, or at www.comedianscomedian.com

Hope it's of use, if so please spread the word!
