Council of Evil

Hey all,
I thought i'd sign up to the forums to get some feedback on this sitcom I recently made with a friend.
The first episode isn't that great, and isn't that necessary to understand the second and third (which are much better written).

Honest feedback welcomed, and if anyone has any idea of what to do with it (like, send it to someone or something)

Cheers

I'll watch them later, love the title btw.

I can't seem to open the movie Gareth. Is the Council of Evil similar in concept to the Evil Office that I do ... i.e. people with grand evil plans doing mundane things? If it is, I like your thinking! You can get a taste of Evil Office from the URL in my signature:

Not sure why it wouldn't work, it's a quicktime movie, so maybe you need to get the latest quicktime update or something. You can right click and save the file to your computer, that might make it work.
And by the way, good concept! Council of Evil is pretty similar to Evil Office, evil people doing mundane things and acting evil, but not really doing anything that evil.
Ah well, someone watch it!

If ever you fancy merging, give me shout! One big, bland behemoth.

Hehe not bad. I watched a few minutes from a couple of them. Some quite funny scenes in there. Doc. Oc tripping up mr bump was a funny part I particularily liked. I think that was episode 3.

I think you need to edit them down to much shorter clips though as it's hard to watch toys moving about for 30 minutes without getting bored.... just like it might be hard to watch a 2 hour Simpsons movie if they're not careful.

And some tighter close-ups of faces would be good too, but I guess that depends on your camera's zoom. Do you record the sound at the same time as the video?

I agree with ShoePie, it's hard to watch something like this for a long time. I only watched it for a minute or two.

Liked the opening title sequence, made me laugh.

Scott, I'll have a word with my writing partner ;)

And yeah, I understand, toys are pretty hard to watch for 30 mins. When we bother making a website for it we'll probably put each scene as a seperate video, so it'll be alot more watchable.

For people who can't be bothered to watch it, just check out the Duck Montage, it's 2 mins long, and probably the highlight of the series

Couldn't get it to load either. Just a blank page and a hung progress bar.

I thought it was quite I agree about coulda been shorter. Leave people wanting more is the key :) Overall Idea was good I liked Yoda in ep.1 "Sidekick you are" lol
