I went to Calgary a few years ago, when my Auntie lived out there. Visited Banff, now that was beautiful. And Lake Loiuse, can't remember if that's in the same place though.

Yea those are two beautiful places and yes all three are in the Province of Alberta. Did you get a chance to use the natural hot spring pool? My friends loved it. I haven't been to Western Canada yet. I'm heading out there next Summer for my friends wedding. Should be fun I can't wait.

Where did your mum's ancestors originally come from? Have you got any British blood in you? By the way, did you know that Mike Myers' parents both come/came from my hometown, Liverpool? He said he used to think he was related to the Beatles, when he was a kid, because his parents were always playing their music, and spoke just like them. Speaking of famous people with Liverpool roots, Halle Berry's mother, and both of Kim Cattrell's parents are also from from the city.

My mom's father (from France) was from the Breton area and my mother's mother's family are Franco Manitobain (a Province in Canada). I don't know if I have any British roots. I always hoped so but I haven't found any unfortunately.
I did hear those stories about Mike Myers past. Funny stuff I hope he writes a book one day about his childhood. I didn't know about Halle Berry or Kim Cattrell though. Neat stuff.
