Not Going Out - Series 3 Page 4

No, iPods are for tricking you out of hard-earned money. ;)

Anyhoo.

Anyone going to the recording on Nov 8?

Went to see 2nd Episode of series 3 last night, have to say absolutely brilliant.

I thought the 2nd series was not as good as the 1st (saw the 1st recording of the 2nd series) but last night was really funny with a great story line. (not saying the 2nd series was poor).

Maybe anyone could post here when they know when this series is being aired.

Alun Cochrane was the warm up comedian, who was also very funny, there was some nice banter between him and Lee during the production.

Lee reckons that Alun will play the barman in next weeks recording!

In the one I saw Alan Cochrane's chatting with the audience threw up 3 amazing coincidences with the plot which couldn't have been foreseen - unless there were plants in the audience. And a woman noticed an interesting error (!) but they decided to gloss over it.

Anyway - I reckon this series is going to be outstanding and they're really going to cause some headlines.

If I didn't mention (I'm sure you don't really care) I'm going again on 1 November and 6 December.

I had to cancel my tickets for this weekend's recording (18th Oct), which was gutting and is even more so now I have to hear how great it was, but I've still got tickets for 6th Dec so will definitely do my best to make sure I can come to that!

I'm so so glad to hear that you think it'll be outstanding but am very intrigued by the idea that they'll cause some headlines! Sounds great!
I take it your not gonna let on how or why though?!

Or perhaps they'd been to the read-throughs...?

No - pure coincidence. That's why there'll be roars of laughter at things that in themselves were not funny at all.

I just realised I've got Harry Hill on the Thursday, IT Crowd on the Saturday and Not Going Out on the Sunday from 30 October to 1 November.

I thought I'd try to swap some but tickets they are all allocated for the other shows. Bugger!

Your sides may actually split. :O

I know that they're an invention during your lifetime, so you've not quite grown up knowing and using them, but it sounds like you need this thing called a calendar, or its little-brother, the diary.

;)

I have a diary - but October was on a different page to November so it didn't click! Oh well ...........

Tickets are still available for 6 December if anyone is interested!

I know! Just printed mine off - dead excited!

One thing Dave Chapman, sorry I'm bit of a newcomer to these things, is it actually more than good enough to turn up at five and is there good parking or a bus service?
Any advice would be more than welcome as I'll be coming from Swansea and would like to avoid anything that could result in my not getting in!!

There is little to no parking anywhere around, so arrive in plenty of time. It's a residential area so you're largely relying on finding somewhere in front of someone's house! There's a pub right next door (The Angler, IIRC), but other than that there's not actually too much around.

It depends from show-to-show, but to guarantee entry you need to be thinking of being in the queue the best part of 90 minutes before the stated 'doors open' time.

Hope that helps, Tom. :)

Very much appreciated!
