Karma Police Song Rework

To the tune of KARMA POLICE by RADIOHEAD

Come on police, arrest this man
This psychopath
He mugged me for a quid
He likes to steal car radios

Come on police, arrest this girl
Her pro-pen-si-ty to
Sell illegal pills
Has made my son a druggie

Dealing with the Met
Messes with your head
You will soon regret that you caused a fuss

Come on police
Come round in your police van
And be more tough
Put away your pens
And send around a patrol

This is what you get
Dealing with the Met
They send round a cadet who can't find his own arse

For a minute there, I saw - I swear, Sir Ian Blair
Phew, I got quite a scare, he had me in his gun's cross-hair

I'd better take care, he is the Police Com-miss-ion-air
I'd better beware, he might leave my brains ov-er there

END

------------
ORIGINAL
------------
Karma police, arrest this man
He talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge
He's like a detuned radio

Karma police, arrest this girl
Her Hitler hairdo is
Making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party

This is what you get
This is what you get
This is what you get when you mess with us

Karma Police
I've given all I can
It's not enough
I've given all I can
But we're still on the payroll

This is what you get
This is what you get
This is what you get when you mess with us

And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
Phew, for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

For for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
Phew, for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself

That bad then?

Apart from the last few lines which are a pain I thought it wasn't too horrible :(

Not bad good match, but it's not very current.

The trick is to cover stuff that's in the news.

Point taken. There are a fair few current affairs that should really take precedence.

But well written like the Ian Blair gag.

Thanks. Will keep in it cold storage until international news calms down a bit
