Just had a 6.1 per cent pint of IPA. Nothing special I'm afraid for that strength.
What are you drinking? Page 146
Drinking a mint julep. Very nice, but not a surprise when you've got a treble bourbon not there. Just a shame that my blender's 'ice crush' function is useless.

Adnams do a 5.7 one that is just awesome, so bitter, so sharp
I think above 5.5% is more than acceptable for an IPA. Some of the US ones are pretty damn strong, but I haven't tried them yet.
Tidying up today found 2 Innes and Gunnes Rum finish, they're fate is sealed.
I don't think I've ever had the rum I&G. Had the standard one and the blonde one.
Pimms and lemonade. first time tried and rather like.
Interesting, it's a drink where I think the ritual is more important than the taste, it's like the original alcopop.
Did you have it with the full fruit salad in it?

It was just a premix. Didn't know you were meant to stick fruit in it.
Cucumber, strawberries, lemon and orange slices and mint.
Doesn't add much most likely.
I had a pint of Brahma earlier and thought it was decent - for a lager.
Tempted to have a beer, but think sticking to just one this week is best.

Is that Broadside?
I am currently imbibing a Bishops Finger.
My one alcoholic beverage this week will be a bottle of Newcastle Brown.
I lie, I actually finished off a third of a can of pear Kopparberg earlier.
Will my alcoholic shame ever end?
Just had a pint of Old Rodger. 7.4%. Probably the strongest beer I've had. Nice taste but no lasting effects..................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
