Must. Have. Photos.

I've seen similar photos. My best friend as a teenager had a father who was the county coroner. Lots of interesting textbooks ...

You must re-establish contact with this friend. Now. :)

He's now a leading trauma surgeon, so he probably has interesting photos of his own.

Another friend created a website in the early days of the Web that he called "Bob Reptile's Gallery of Intense Death." It was very popular in Norway and Sweden. It got a mention on Howard Stern's show one day because it had autopsy photos of JFK and Marilyn Monroe.

This isn't "weird" as such, but it's looovely. http://tinyurl.com/69osog :)

The UN is a waste of time, money and 100 tons of paint, apparently.

Wow, that's quite cool.

I think money *should* be spent on trying to make things look beautiful (though of course people might disagree on what is beautiful).

There's not enough attention paid to aesthetics any more.

And when it is, it's on f**king ugly steel and glass monstrosities.

Did I hear you say on Sunday that you prefer modern art to the old-school stuff though, zooo?

I like certain bits and pieces from all eras.
But good modern art gets me more excited than a Constable in general, yes.

But not any old shit, and I HATE Tracey Emin type stuff. (athough I don't deny that it should be termed as art, it's just crap art, to me.)

See people, we don't agree on everything. :)
