You're right Aaron- waiting until I'd got the box set before selling would have made more sense- I've had EDC withdrawal symptoms for quite a while now!
I had no idea who John Esmonde was until I read his obituary in The Independent today. He was certainly a busy man and wrote some good shows.
Though I found The Good Life a little to cosy and twee, it did have great characters and writing. Ever Decreasing Circles is a huge favourite and a massive achievement for it to be considered mainstream. It had some lovely dark undertones to it (and what a great title for a show.)
