Big opp
is this geared at stand ups/ sketch groups or film makers? this blurb from the press release:
"From now until the September 21, comedians are invited to submit their video clips. Judges will select 15 semi-finalists from which MySpace users will vote for their top six who will perform live at a national awards ceremony on November 27
seems to infer the former. anyone know?
Yeah, it is rather vague isn't it. Maybe they're after writer/performers who are in sketch groups.
It looks like whichever video wins, they want it performed live (by the actors in the video presumably). That appears to mean little or no animation then. That'll put a few noses out!
With a £5,000 prize competition will be fierce.
Something a little 'topical', 'lighthearted' and 'now' with young actors, male and female, not being TOO offensive will win it, I reckon.
That's the brief I'd put together for The JunkMales team anyway!
Er, have we got anybody who is not TOO offensive, Dan?

You'll have to draft Charity in again.
