War means business will be booming in the arms industry - good for the economy, and we are over populated, so it's good news all round then. As long as they don't go nuclear, of course.

Actually this is very, very scary.
The only thing in the Russian arsenal that really works, and had been invested is their nuclear weapons. They've spent a lot on them in the last 10 years.
If Russia is trying to make it clear thay they're still a big dog, in advance of the oil running out to keep US from pinching they're supplies later.
Then this could get nastier very quickly
