British comedy film recommendations Page 2

Oh yes I forgot about cock and bull story. I thought that was great, probably Steve Coogan's best film? Apart from maybe 24 hour party people though I wouldn't really class that as a comedy

Go on, zooo, for once in your life defy Aaron! Agree with me!

I honestly can't remember it, sorry!

I've disagreed with the young man plenty of times though. :)

Must admit I'm very much looking forward to How To Lose Friends and Alienate People. That's the Simon Pegg film to get excited about.

Sounds like How To Irritate People. But no, not like Pegg to rip someone else off, is it? :)

See:

SHUTTUP!!

It's based on the book by Toby Young. Pegg's just the actor playing him in the film.

I love going abroad, just not the getting there.

I still do it though. Just don't look out the window.

Ok... Well, make sure you go to Vegas at some point. :)

Will do!

OK... I'll forgive him. This time.

Maybe it's Toby Young who's the plagiarist.

So is it being made in America? Or England.

It's set in New York, isn't it? With Jeff Bridges as his boss.

American/English co-production. It's got Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson, Kirsten Dunst and Megan Fox in it.

Oh.

Going further back: Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Lavender Hill Mob, School For Scoundrels and The Ladykillers. Also of note is Whitnail and I.
