Never saw the fifties until this decade in another way. But obviously there were still London Country buses and the clouds floating above the garden bonfire looked like and even spoke like the aftermath of war. The problem for those of us who were children of the sixties, ie born then - really, is that the label was claimed by those who were born in the forties. And that one sentence explains every problem in the country today.
