Beatles - Come Together

We'll Be Together - Sting

So, are we adding to words now? (goes against the grain)

Eh? What do you mean, OR?

Well Mystical contains Mystic.

You need to go back a couple of pages:

Scroll down to the bottom of the page as well.

I'm with Chappers on this.

Hence my earlier a Emma Peel.

Adding to a word/name is okay in my book.

But not the other way around ie only using part of a word/name. Also, changing plural to singular and vice versa is okay too.

What say Radish, Gordon, george r. et al?

(Assuming for the mo' that Herc is with OR on this.)

Hey, we now have our very own "YES/NO" vote. :D This is the important one, folks.

As with Mornington Crescent which they don't understand on the Continent for some reason, at least not in parts of Switzerland, there are several books of rules. I had no problems with "Mystical" as I assumed we were using the Tudor Court Rules rather than Trumpington's Variations. But it probably doesn't require war.

I could have done B Bumble and The Stingers to follow on from Sting but that technique seems to make it far to easy.

Well, I don't mind.

I'm happy to agree with whoever wins the argument on this one.

It looks like 2-2 currently. :D

I don't know, I go away for a few posts and confusion reigns :( - I'm totally lost now on what you are all debating about.

AND as I said in a previous post, we need to set rules, which everyone agrees but then when I suggest some, there's zero response (so frustrating!!) , and until we do then this confusion will remain.

SO:-

1/. No part OR added words - e.g. (OR's point) Sting - Stinger, Adam - Adamski

2/. No "the" or "and"

3/. No repeating of a band, unless it is impossible. (GB's point) someone posts Xerox - Inxs

4/. No plurals

I'll concede the last rule as I think there may be people who want it in BUT unless you voice that on this thread we will have to go with it.

SO PLEASE - people let us know your feelings so we can eliminate the confusion.

:)
