But I've got to tell you about this - you crossed my mind while I was in Suffolk with a mate who I hadn't seen for five years. I mentioned Wild Willy Barrett and John Otway and he looked blank, having just slagged off Oasis and Glen Campbell. (There was a time when he was heavy metal). And stupidly I said "Nice Legs Shame About Her Face" completely forgetting that it wasn't by them but rather The Monks. And he got very weird about it - I can only assume that he has developed a recent sense of acute political awareness. Sort of tried to silence me in case other people got annoyed in the way they would do if I had stood up and shouted "Bring Back Slavery". Very odd - not that any of this is your fault completely.
