Funny you mention this line. I was surprised hearing it on the Carry On documentary because I've already known this play on words from the Stones Song Infamy (from A Bigger Bang). Is that Keith's hommage to the Carry On movies?

I would say so, and as the doc. revealed it was a throwaway line they got permission to use in the Carry On from the comedy scriptwriter Frank Muir, which would probably date it to sometime in the 1950s.
