Did they bollocks. Had to go on the bus with the freaks.

I got a bus at 7am - the 188 - and I pissed off a woman because I didn't move up and let her sit down quick enough.

I thought I might get merked or something. All Londoners carry shooters, don't they?

Oh, and Tim, you didn't actually act out or perform any pot plant f**king. You merely said it very loud in your marvellous Robert Webb voice. And I just laughed.

:O I'm not a hottie!

You are ruddy bloody are!

Quote: David Chapman @ September 8 2008, 10:19 PM BST

Why was it everyone knew who I was?

It was the smell of Worthers Originals and Halls mentholiptus that gave it away.

Quote: zooo @ September 8 2008, 9:06 PM BST

No.

We could do the boys though!

I think I win that one.

Though Bussell looks like Hugh Grant and Winterlight looks like a League One footballer for some reason.

Flipping hell. Was that from the stop outside the car wash? Or right up from the station? I'm afraid that I was still fast asleep at that time. Just feet away...

Your eyes are all improper!

Er, it was about a five minute walk from the hotel. I had to cross what looked like a dual-carriage way type thing. Lucky there were no cars.

I was surrounded by industrial buildings.

Errrm. Which direction did you catch it in? Down back through Greenwich, or up towards the Dome?

The dual carriage way you speak of is almost certainly Blackwall Tunnel Approach... Or one of the newer ones which head up towards the Dome itself.

I think I win**** that one.

*Werther's
**Hall's
***Mentholyptus
****lose

...just for fun, you understand. :)

I hope to make the next London meeting. Still worried - in fact, given the feedback, extremely worried - that I will get on with Aaron 'cos he seems like a nice bloke by all accounts and even smiles sometimes (thanks to Winterlight for the evidence)

It went to Greenwich. I didn't see the Dome that morning.

That tunnel would be horrible to get mugged in.

You know trapped under the Thames, to chavs could completley trap you.

Hm. Ok. Just trying to work out where you got on. *strokes chin*

I'll check a map.

Well, a bit like Live Aid, I was the BSG member who managed to participate in the half assed coup to take over the board while everyone was away with Ruby and Frostyboy and others AND still go to the meet. I think I should get some sort of prize.

You've just compared yourself to Phil Collins.

Flipping hell. Did the hotel people tell you to go there, or did you find it yourself?

I would have thought it to be quicker and easier to head to this one: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=FbW1EQMdBCcAACEF4sl2KNhBQg%3BCW7-LCIjjWyvFUCrEQMdwjoAACFnyAvMMo33Ng&mra=pe&mrcr=0&sll=51.485393,-0.064428&sspn=0.202247,0.4422&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=51.49012,0.008804&spn=0.000303,0.000849&z=21

It's all a plot to get you to come, purely out of intrigue!

No, I'm sure you are every bit as nice as the BSG harem and geezers suggest.

I just guessed!

I saw a bus go in that direction so I walked that way. Didn't take long.

Ah, fair enough. Fairly desolate up that way, ain't it? That, my friend, is my route up into London proper.
