Terminal

A little weird thing from my head.

INT. HOSPITAL. DAY.

A DOCTOR EXITS A HOSPITAL ROOM, LOOKING GLUM, HE APPROACHES SOME ANXIOUS PARENTS.

DAD
How is he?

DOCTOR
I'm sorry.

THE MUM BREAKS DOWN AND BURIES HER HEAD IN DADS SHOULDER SOBBING.

DOCTOR
He's gone full Disney.

HE OPENS THE DOOR TO REVEAL THAT THE THERE IS A BOY IN THE ROOM SMILING AS TONS OF LITTLE ANIMATED ANIMALS TUCK UP THE SHEETS AND RUN AMOK SINGING JAUNTY TUNE, WHILST THE WINDOW REVEALS CARTOON SCENERY.

THE DAD WEEPS.

ENDS

You, Sir, are a star in my dark night.

I like; although I think the end dialogue should be "He's gone full-blown Disney" to get the full impact.

O.D'd?

I love this one! I completely agree with SlagA about the punchline though.

Yeah I'm stealing that :)

Thanks for comments.. thought it might just be a little too odd..

Agree with The Slaggs about the last line of dialogue. Also think it should be the punch, so...

Isn't it a bit expensive, with animation and all that? And to go full blown Disney you need actual Disney characters, which would be an infringement of copyright.

That's true, provided you're wanting to sell it to TV. If you wanted to get an animator and use a green screen it would make a nice addition to a showreel though.

The animation might be a bit expensive I guess, but you could do it without real Disney characters, just having bluebirds and squirrels and such flitting about like in Snow White (and like he wrote in the sketch). I think an advert recently did a similar thing. It blatantly suggests Disney without infringing copyright.

Thank you :D

One day I just suddenly realised who Michael Jackson reminded me of.

Brilliant!

Would the Disney corporation allow this though?

:D

Let them sue..

God knows we need the YouTube hits.. ;)
