Fried Chinchilla

I read this story earlier which is apparently true. I just had to share... :)

A guy I used to work with told me this one Monday morning. His daughter and wife were away on a school trip and he had been tasked with looking after the pet chinchilla. So he's sitting watching the television and having a beer, and decides that the chinchilla could do with a bit of exercise, so wanders over to the cage, avoids the slashing incisors and lets it out for a trot round the front room.

As it was a bit chilly, the chinchilla, after a full room inspection, goes and sits on top of th video player underneath the television, enjoying the warm updraft. All is quiet for about 5 minutes and then the chinchilla suddenly takes off vertically, smashes its head against the bottom of the television and repeats this rapidly 5 or 6 times, then lies still. Our man nearly has a heart attack himself and goes over to the supine and now very dead animal......

Well the moral of the story is, don't urinate on electrical equipment.

Fuuuuuuucking hell! :O

(This is the kind of thing which should have gone in the General, General Thread, by the way.)

Er, yeah you are probably right. Having said that the General General thread is absolutely massive - much like my tadger. Might be time for a cull and new version.

Did he at least make it into a codpiece?

Saw the Peruvian Guniea Pig festival in the press.

Pretty ones get cute outfits, ugly ones get eaten.

That's quite close to my view of a perfect world.

moral of that story....dont keep a rodent as a pet.

or electing it president.

Guinea pigs don't share their thoughts with us, ergo they are all guilty of thought crimes.

Just like squirrels, and people who mumble.

We'd never cull general, general thread... it's Leevil's love child.

I want photographic evidence
