I think we need to lower the level of paranoia around here? I expect there are new people who genuinely want to be happy, fluffy members of the site? :)

Like that has ever worked before.

I can't wait for this being an Alice fan and enjoying most Tim Burton films.

Has there ever been a great movie version of Alice in Wonderland? Disney's 1951 animated film was not bad; the 1972 British version with Michael Crawford, Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan (and even Dennis Waterman as one of the jacks) was crap; Hollywood's 1998 Through The Looking Glass with Kate Beckinsale and Ian Holm was even worse. And the 1999 version with Whoopi Goldberg, Robbie Coltrane and various other stars sucked.

Much better to stick with the book and the original illustrations. And the Jefferson Airplane song.

There's that scary version, I think it's just called Alice.
Not scary as in horror, just filmed in a very disturbing style.

I hope Alice is a hot young teenager and not a kid.

I Hope it's not going to be like the extremely poor remake of Willy Wonka, Depp's lowest point I think.

In the new film?
Haven't you seen the pics?

It wasn't too bad.

No, just of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

Oh dear, Matt Lucas is in it too :(

Ah, well she is very pretty and I'm sure you'll find her acceptable.

I thought it was horrible, apparently Marilyn Manson was going to be directing it originally....that would have been even more messed up lol

A Serious Man.

Ohhhhh man. That looks like it will be interesting. I like that there is no one I recognize.
