New at the box office Page 38

RunPee.com :D

Doesn't look to have much info on new movies yet though.

I want to go and watch a 3D film!
But all they have is stupid little kid's films about space or under the sea. Booo.

Isn't Coraline a 3D movie? It's a kids film but quite dark apparently.

You should have watched My Bloody Valentine 3D, that looked great (in a shit way).

Role Models. It's not new at the box office, but I just watched it and very much enjoyed it. The little black kid is awesome, as is, like always, Paul Rudd.

Only 3D film I ever watched. Awful. Not even really scary. :(

Oh yer, that was great in a shit way! :) Cheesily bad. Bad acting, bad story line in 3D!

The book was good. Nice and creepy.

Dan Akroyd Lets Go Some Ghostbusters 3 News

Dan "The Man" Akroyd wants to incorporate a new Ghostbusters team made up of women?
When asked about the premise of the next installment of the classic 80's franchise Ghostbusters, Dan Akroyd believes that the movie will be moving along soon but he has learned "at any second everything could blow up." The plot for Ghostbusters 3 is still being hammered out but Dan is hoping for a five member team with several female members. Dan states "I'd like it to be a passing-of-the-torch movie. Let's revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family but let's pass it on to a new generation."

Who you might ask would Dan consider being the female members of the Next Gen Ghostbusters squad? Mr Akroyd would like to see Alyssa Milano and Eliza Dushku. Dan States "I think they're amazing." "And I'm excited about the whole idea of getting this done.".

Alyssa Milano has done some voice work for the new Ghostbusters video game, so that one kinda fits. I don't know where Dan got the Eliza Dushku idea. I think Alyssa would be cool to watch in Ghostbusters 3. It would be funny to see how Venkman reacts to her, him being old and her being the new hottie on the block. But no more females epically Eliza Dushku. That makes me not want to see the movie. Hopefully Vince Vaughn and maybe Jack Black will be included. Time will tell. As far as right now the details are being thought out, nothing is final until we get a studio confirmation.

Or at least funny women. One aspect that made Ghostbusters funny were the strong comedic actors. If you can round up Anna Feris, Tina Fey, Jane Lynch (she's funny in every movie I see her in), Amy Poehler, Jamie Pressly, Kristen Wiig, Isla Fisher, maybe even Sarah Silverman?
Kristen Schall,
OK how about this:
Dr. Peter Venkman's daughter:

Image
Sarah Silverman. I don't know if she's leading role material and I'm really not a fan of her's BUT she is cocky enough to pull off a Venkman.

Louis and Janine's kid (Rick Moranis and Annie Potts):
This one is perfect! Kristen Schaal: She looks like she could easily be a child of Rick Moranis and she's got figity nerd down pat.

Image

Dr. Raymond Stantz's daughter

Image
Anna Feris: She can pull off the low self esteem thing well along with the physical comedy Ray's character usually does in the films.

Dr. Egon Spengler's daughter

Image
Tina Fey: She's got nerd and smart written all over her.

Winston Zeddmore's daughter

Image
Rashida Jones: Yes because she's black but also because she plays a good straight man...err...woman juset like Winston was.

And give Jane Lynch something to do in that movie because she's just funny in everything.

Some of those are perfect!!

(the first two and Tina Fey). :)

Yea I could probably have thought harder on Dr. Raymond Stantz's daughter but I just like Anna Feris.
