New at the box office Page 25

Ahhhhhh. My knowledge of canadian cinema times is not what it was..good luck :)

I'm really looking forward to Synedoche, New York - Charlie Kaufman's new film.

I don't know what to think of that movie. It's so...unconventional looking.

I've finally seen Burn After Reading. I loved it. And I love Tilda Swinton. :)

I enjoyed some of it, but felt a bit let down by it overall. Clooney was good, as was Pitt. I enjoyed the useless CIA/FBI (or whoever) scenes too.

I really liked it, but it kinda ended too abruptly. I thought there was gonna be a lot more.

I saw Burn After Reading last week, I thought it was brilliant. Personally I thought the ending was perfect, those two CIA guys were great. John Malkovich was superb too, a proper mentalist.

Anyone else seen Ghost Town? I saw it on Thursday. It was alright, for a few brief moments in the middle of the film it was absolutely hilarious, but the rest of it not so. Ricky Gervais was its only saving grace really.

That's the message of the movie, though, isn't it? There isn't more. :)

I thought the ending was spot-on.

Just back from the cinema. The film was Chugyeogja (The Chaser). It was really good, though only subtitled.

Very violent, but beautiful. :)

Laughing out loud Just saw that.

I went to see Bond last night...and I'm sorry Bond fans but it was a bit pants.

Oh no. :( In what way, Ellie?

The story line was too complicated... not that I didn't understand but they kept hinting at different stroies but not quite tying them up. The baddy was RUBBISH... what happened to good ol' scar faces? The whole "bad Bond" thing was just shit. The only good thing was there was a slight disruption half way through so we all got free tickets to the cinema again.
