Really? I did not know that. What was the original ending then?

I'm not sure, but doesn't she think he's dead, then he's not, and they go off into the sunset together, or something like that?? I can't remember exactly what the proper ending was, probably grim, but I think Tarantino's original screenplay, exactly as he wrote it, was released.

How the blazes did you guess that, the zooo?!

I'm not keen on any of the others.

Ha, I must be some kind of genius. ;)

I love all his films, to slightly varying degrees.

I found he's getting more extreme with his films as he's getting on, I prefer his earlier work, Kill Bill was the last film I actually enjoyed and that's what? 5 years old now or something?

I've just realised I'm basically level-pegging with Chip. Teary

*SINGS*

"Tim And Chippy sitting in a tree,

Doesn't quite scan, but there you go.

He's a director who doesn't necessarily suit being given a big budget. I like to think that he's got one more really brilliant film within him, probably if he concentrates on the script and characters a little bit more than the visuals.

You don't like Kill Bill or Jackie Brown?

Seen them once and that's enough for me.

I do like True Romance, though. I'd forgotten about that.

No, it's 6 years old!

I wanted to just say I saw "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and it really was fantastic! Seriously go see it! I loved the movie. In my top 5 favourite films of 2009.

As is my way, I went to see Avatar 3D today. It was a bit too long for my liking and the nasty humans vs innocent aliens plot was done much better in District 9. However, the 3Dness was magnificent and impressed me no end.

Just finally saw Inglourious Basterds.
Not too shabby!
Liked the scalping and carving swastikas into faces and the disgusting shooty heady bits.

Not as good as I was expecting though.

I still have that to watch.

Oh. Well, hopefully I didn't ruin any of the gory goodness... :/

It's not half as violent as zooo makes it sound. It's basically a movie about tense conversations around dinner tables, and all the better for it.

The biggest star in Tarantino's movies is always the dialogue.

I agree. I was glad to see in the interview on the disc with Pitt and Tarantino that Pitt actually has a sense of humour and timing. Bonjourno!

His Italian accent was awesome.
