I genuinely think the film should've been rated higher than a 12, it was a proper messed up thriller.

Yep, there were parents bringing in what looked like six year olds when I saw it! Should have been a fifteen, surely?

It's not that dark and adult its more T for Teen.

Disagree, it was definitely for more grown up viewers, including teenagers.

Rarely. But scary? Come on. You big baby.

Teary

Actually, not scary, more disturbing in parts.

Maybe. But it was accesible enough for kids so they could buy the figures the cars the lunchboxes.

Alright, disturbing is fair enough. :)

Ever seen Ichi the Killer?

Yep, disturbing. I had to see Wall:e after to recover.

I dunno; for me I think most kids would have got a bit confused/bored by it. It was a bit long and involved I would have thought for, say, a ten year old. I can see them enjoying the explosions but then not knowing what the hell was going on overall!

Japanese films are pretty messed up - Old Boy, Audition...

Audition is great; the bit with the needles and the piano wire. And the bloke in the sack. Those Japs are sick! :D

Did anyone sit to the end of the credits in Wall:e? Did the humans all get wiped out by those deadly storms?

I was bored by the end lol well no bored is unfair, disapointed about what for me felt like a missed opurtunity in Dent.
****Spolier inside******
Shoulda stopped it with the Joker saying I win, then had a little bit of Dent flipping the coin infront of Gordons family a shot and then black.
****Spolier inside******

over 2 hours for any action film is just flat out to long in my humble opinion.

No I didn't

What did you reckon of Wall:E Simon?

Rarely have I seen any of the films mentioned on this or any other site. About half of the time (here) I have heard of them. That film falls into neither of those categories.

I agree with your ending and think that's probably where it did end until they showed an initial cut to those damn cheesy American audiences.

Wall:e, surprisingly, amazingly even, does live up to the hype.

Is there any dialogue in Wall:e? Or just beeps and whirrs?

Yes, but not much.

I saw Kung Fu Panda recently. Brilliant. The prison escape & Pos 'food' training sequence are animated superbly. Very enjoyable.

Some stuff I'm looking forward to. Although I'll probably feel let down in the end.

Max Payne

Punisher: War Zone

New Pegg film. Doesn't look too good. How To Lose Friends And Alienate People.
