Rorschach's Plight Made me chuckle a few times. Warning: Lots of swearing
Just watched this.
WTF?
I did not get it. I "got it" but did not get it.
Did any non-fans of Watchmen like this film?

I don't get it.
I felt like I was being punished for not reading the original "graphic novels".
It appeared too random for me, it was hard to follows the characters and the plot was misty.
Well, the graphic novel was better but I enjoyed the film greatly. As for being "punished" I can't really see why.
Oh well. You should read it, it might help.
I missed this at the pictures, so I might get the DVD.
I know sod all about it, but I saw Alan Moore on that Comics Brittania series they did, I remember him writing some great stuff for 200AD. and Rorshach looked like an interesting character.
Is there a Comic book thread?
Just to clarify!
By Comic books I meant things like Marvel, DC, 200AD, Eagle, The Beano.
And not the Jimmy Cricket Annual 1984.
I suppose I enjoy my comic books films more if they bring a sense of nostalgia and are simple. This film was trying to tell me to much, and a lot was lost on me.
Superman vs Lex
Spider vs Dr Oct
He-man vs Skelly
Easy, fun, nostalgic.
I don't think it was a bad film, I just didn't get it. Which might make it bad?
Well, it's not for kids obviously but I'm sure you knew that.
Are Superhero movies becoming better or worse?
I still think that Superman is the best.
Better I think. Ironman, Spiderman and The X-Men are all great imo. There are obviously the shit ones too. Hulk and Superman Returns spring to mind.
