You're not especially persistent, Sootyj. :D

Not persistent, at 5426 posts what would you call persistent?

A Forgetti Western

(Now showing at a cinema near you)

Well it's better than the porno Western, The lusty the submissive and the Alsation.

or the minimalist westen

the adjective, the adjective and the third adjective.

The ones with their heads in the wrong places are the Muppets that keep offering critque to wind ups.

I don't even consider whether something in critique is a wind up or not.

I just make a comment if I think there is something interesting in a piece.

I read Arie Birds post again - it still has some interesting lines for me, wind up or no!

This seems to be an excert from something else. This isn't particulary funny as it stands, but in places does read quite well. The characters are quite distinctive. As has been said it is similar to Blackadder in parts.

If it is a wind up, which I doubt, then the person has gone to great lengths. I mean they have even created a profile! So I think this person should be seen as genuine until proven other wise. After all this is the BSG forums not X files.

Yes I agree. Come on Arie Bird. Some of us like bits of your piece. Come back and make a comment or new post! :)

Not that it will do anything to sway the opinions of the conspiracy theorists, but Arie Bird's was indeed posting from Canadia.

Is all I have to say.

Good filk/sketch that Sooty - but too long - pity the guy who wrote it didn't put it in critique first so we could learn him!

Gosh I do love this ironic internet humour, it's funny, and not at all time wasting or dreary.

n.b. Frankie you haven't seen the Southpark Movie, you've missed a treat.

No, I haven't seen the South Park movie... I'd like to, I do like South Park... v clever stuff!

;)

Sketches can sometimes seem too long when seen out of the context of the whole, don't you think? And we can all be razor quick to critique at times..
