My favourite supermarket

Well go on which one is it?

I like Waitrose, it's like M&S but less up it's own bum/

That said Morrison do some ace fresh pies.

That said my favourite mono-speciality shops has to be the International Cheese Centre.

Waaaaaaaaaaitrose.

Tesco.

Tesco for prices, Waitrose for slightbitofclass.

And if it can be counted as a supermarket, I am more than a little bit awed by Whole Foods Market (at present their only UK store is in Kensington).

I actually had a dream about Waitrose last night.

. . . You may actually be a bit sadder than me.

(Nah, not really. Odd dream though!)

:D
It was because my sister told me on the phone they'd changed a Budgens to a Waitrose since I moved away...

Oh my God, the fascinating conversations I have with my sister. :O

LOL. That's brilliant. I think that the Budgens near me might be closing but I don't know if it'll be demolished or changed or what.

I like Waitrose a lot, but I can't afford to shop there all the time. I like grabbing wine and the occasional snack from there.

Tesco's overall for price and quality.

ASDA cause I get discount on account my flatmate works there. It's only 10% and I have to pretend to be his sister but hey!

I like Tesco as well. Shopped there a lot as a student. Morrisons when I feel fancy.

Anyone remember a change of stores called B Jams or something? I remember them from the 1980s. Ooh and kwik save! And Gateway! And Plymco!

'Sketchleys' just came into my head.
What the hell was Sketchleys?

Oh yeah!

It does sound familiar... could it have been 'Beachams' though?

Beejams became Iceland.

It was a dry cleaners. But it would be a good name for a sketch group.

The Rye cleaners?

I use Johnsons dry cleaners to do some of my dresses. A lot of shopping I get outside of food and basics, I get online or in independant shops. Not a massive fan of big chains. Doesn't mean I don't shop there but sometimes I find them very depressing and clonely.
