Romance is dead Page 3

I've heard that a man actually stands a chance to get slapped in some Scandinavian countries, if he opens door for a woman.
The reasoning is, the man is somehow humiliating her, making her a weak creature who can't even open doors for herself.

But that's feminism for ya!

Bloody women! *shakes fist*

I hung out with this exchange student from Australia and he told me the biggest culture shock for him was how everyone held the door open for everyone else in our country.

What do you expect? He comes from a country whose population consists of convicts.

Laughing out loud uncivilized brutes!

Exactly whatI was going to say! How come Aaron always pre-empts me?

That and cutlery.

I sometimes think romance is dead, and then I meet a guy who's lovely (not my type) but I get flowers, taken out for meals, and treated really nicely... yet I always fall for the bad boys! Why can't there be more of bad nice boys!

Like Pacino's character in Dog Day Afternoon?
:)

I know - I wish I found the guys who like me attractive! I just don't. :(

What exactly do you mean by 'bad boys' though?

Ahhh. Now I get it.
I was not prepared for the seventies 'lingo'.
:)

I don't really want a bad boy.

My ideal man is someone who's confident (but not arrogant), sexy (doesn't love themselves and are too good looking), and most importantly MAKES ME LAUGH oh and is as crazy as me. Oh and good in bed.

Should 'ave give it some Gene Hunt gravitas :)
