There's certainly only one person seriously discussing it.

Oh dear Lord, can I hear the sound of Worst Sitcom in the World, rolling, and moaning in it's grave?
.
That was Microfiche is on, with Tony Hart/
I branded each character of a script onto a cow's haunches and then paraded the herd, in strict order, through the corridors of Broadcasting House, passing each department's door in turn. I didn't get a commission but I will be presenting CountryFile.

. . . .
That's the first 4 episodes of my sitcom, microfiche and chips.
It's about a computer programer, and a librarian who run a chippy.
This thread has brought out the best in you. That's my favourite of yours jokes to date.
Maybe we can start posting scripts in binary code
01101: 00001 (0101010101) 00100101101!
11010: 101?!

If it's worth saying then say it in Hexidecimal - it's 8x faster.
To be fair though, a lot of the scripts in book form do have it going down both sides and it's easy to read. I'm thinking OFAH, Porridge, Father Ted, Alan Partridge etc.
Am I the only person who understands what Pete is doing? When his neat double-spaced shiny brads script plops through the friendly local prodco's letterbox it will obviously be read well in advance of the newbs who may take his advice seriously, and scour e-bay for microfiche converters etc.
By the way, can I just add for all the newbs who may be confused as to correct ettiquette when submitting scripts, colourful hand drawn covers depicting your script scene by scene are de rigeur, as are hourly follow-up phone calls; eh, Pete, eh?

You have 48 hours to write that as a skit, before I pinch it
I write in my own blood, so if they lose my adress they can always trace my DNA
