No, why is some one eating a Doritos sandwich funny? If you are genuinely trying to be funny, and not invovling us all in an elaborate windup. Then might I suggest watching Scooby Doo, Black Adder, and Red Dwarf for how to make odd food funny. Otherwise this is a jsut a bunch of random oddness, that isn't tickling my funny bone. And the lemon slice thing is just nasty, and why does hes till drink it? Did I miss a scene where Skimmer is Muldoon's gimp and agrees to be humiliated by him for fun?
Sitcom - appraisal welcome Page 4
really, you dont think a grown man making a big doritos sandwich is funny? this is what i mentioned earlier, i think what has got people interested in this has been the visual aspect. how he constructs his snacks is part of who Muldoon is, it shows his commitment to triviality and man-child persuits.
re the lemmon slice - Muldoon was joking. was that not clear enough?
Nope not at all clear.
And he makes snacks, thats an interesting character trait, as a running background joke could even be intriguing.
As a central plank of a comedy show, are you sure?
Seems a little weak.
but Skimmer says 'you'd better be...' (as in you'd better be joking)
and Muldoon replies 'the jokes on you Skimmy-boy' - as in 'i was joking'.
although, come to mention it - it could be played in a fantasically ambiguous way, or even a close up of Muldoon as Skimmy continues drinking. thanks for the note!
I have just seen people accusing me of being some sort of alias of David Mreton. Could i please point out that i have never met this person in my life i was simply pointing out his sitcom writing attributes. Fortunately more of you are now starting to see my point.
You waited a whole seven minutes to post that then? Good for you, Davey boy!
I'm confused Mr Bussell are you me, or am I you?
Or are we both Sebastian Orange-news?

F**k off i am not Dave. And if you have to use exlcmation marks you clearly lack any wit to come up with any humour of your own?
Tit.
Sorry, David Moreton/Sebastian , I just don't get it. I can see you think it's hilarious and won't be swayed, but I just can't see it being funny. I can see where's it's meant to be funny, but maybe I'm not your target audience.
right - someone check the ip addresses or something. i absolutely guarantee that sebastian oranges is not me. why on earth would i do that?
thanks for the compliments anyway seb. what do you think about the doritos? and that's an open Q to everyone btw....
I think we need to know what flavour the doritos are. Just saying Doritos is very lazy writing.
Maybe doritos and,
a hamster
a turd
his hand
kryptonite
a Gutenberg Bible
another sandwuch
Ronny Corbett
A margarine made of old Bibles, called I can't butter Belief.
The entire Earth
A very big turd
Frazzles.
Ach, Marc P, you can say that, but the joke's on you.
Personally, I'd rank Doritoes as 17th on my list of funny savoury snacks.
okay, i do actually have it down in the 'script-proper' that he's eating 'regular cheese' - it's a set up for a joke at the end of the episode. fyi, i am keeping some details at bay, for reasons i'm sure you'll understand.
Actually it's after 12 so the jokes on you
