If he could say that with a straight face, he's a better actor than we thought.

I actually thought Tarantino was quite good in Dusk, quite creepy. Now whether that was intended or not is another question.

I love your implied assumption and belief that that took any acting on his part.

That was actually in the second line, which you didn't quote. Where I said 'Now whether that was intended or not is another question.'

Which didn't seem to be in line with the point I was making, so I removed it.

Well, it was, surely? I was saying, in that second line, that the creepiness might well have nothing to do with acting ability, but accidental, natural creepiness. It's all there in the line. So there.

Firstly, that's not quite how it reads. Or how it could be read.

Secondly, my point was further than that. The man is a f**king freak. A total creep, yes, naturally and inherently. I would sooner leave my children with a convicted paedophile than him. Etc.

Firstly, I obviously disagree, as it was exactly the point/joke I was trying to make; Can't see how it could be taken any other way.

Secondly, why would you be leaving your fictional kids with one of the most feted writer/directors of the last twenty years?

I disagree he's a creep though; an ultra-ultra-geek, for sure, but I don't know him, so couldn't say if he's a creep. To me, he's just a great film maker who has the somewhat mistaken belief that hes a great actor.

Was a great film-maker. Not anymore. Now he's a tired old has-been.

Loved Kill Bill. His Grindhouse thing was pretty good too; looking forward to seeing how Inglorious Bastards shapes up.

So you'd look after them yourself?

I still love his films!!!

But yes, wouldn't want to hang out with him. :)

ZING!

I like Scarlet in Winterlight's new avatar. She's very sexy.

So do I. Winterlight's doing your "sexy avatar" job for you.

Something about the shadow on Sherilyn Fenn's chin in Chip's avatar makes it look like she's eating an entire red apple.
