Everyone seems to be really steetching this thread, so I'm gonna jump right in there with Quincy. Thats got a comedy title sequence as well... all those students fainting when cuts open the body, The bit where you think "Oh Quincys examining a corpse there, so what?" pull back to reveal it's a fit bird on his boat drinking champagne.
Taggart is great.
Never seen (or even heard of) Life on Mars until now.

It bleedin' feels like living on another planet sometimes.
We recently bought some Taggart DVDs - both classic and newish. I have to admit that I prefer the newer ones. Despite the "hard" feel to the programme, there's a surprising amount of comedy in Taggart. All that dry sarcasm. Great stuff!
Does anyone remember 'Target' with Patrick Mower?
