Yes, but he's from the blue side of Liverpool that isn't too bad, but if he was from the red side, then I would strongly dissaprove.
Cristiano Ronaldo / Real Madrid saga Page 2
lol Still unforgivable here in Liverpool, red or a blue, you do not go to United.
Yes, but Rooney comes from an Irish family and Manchester United have a big Irish fan base, so he may consider himself Irish.
I'm loosing this argument aren't I..,
lol We'll call it quits. It's healthy to debate though. I think we'll agree that either manc or scouse it is not an option to change sides.
It never really bothered me that much that he left Everton. Why? Because I knew from the minute he scored his first wonder-goal, against Arsenal, when he was still only 16, that he wouldn't be around for long. You've got to understand, the hype about him had been building up for a long time, before he made his debut. The way some people were talking, you'd have thought we were about to see the next Maradona.
Manchester United - feeder club for Real Madrid.
Get over there quick boy.
The player I respect most in the game is Alan Shearer. He turned them down twice. Why do they assume that everyone wants to play for them?

Agreed! Shearer is a role-model. It's good to see him doing the pundit thing with Gary Lineker, another great.
On Ronaldo: I'm sick of the media coverage and hope it all goes away until the outcome.
Why don't Real Madrid & ManU play each other over two legs - winner gets Ronaldo!
This whole thing feels like it's gone on longer than the Zimbabwean elections.
If Madrid want him, why don't United just tell them they can have him for £150million and to put up or shut up. All fixed.
I wish some sportsman would do something really, really bad just to get this total non-story out of the news!
Dan
Like get caught f**king a chicken?
Like get caught f**king Cristiano Ronaldo...
Another role model is Matt Le Tissier, stayed at Southampton all his time when he was definetly good enough to be playing for a top Premiership club, deserves alot of credit. I'm sorry Dave, but the idea that United think they can have anybody, then Chelsea don't have alot of room to talk. Remember the John Obi Mikel transfer. I'm glad you got him anyway because he is a poor midfielder. I laughed the day he was sent off against United for that 'foul' on Patrice Evra.
