What is it with you and the Jews?!

Like shooting mentalists at Glastonbury festival, they're just an easy target.

I want to get liposuction - but I can't afford it. It's about £3000 for just one area... once I'd had my stomach done...I'd want my legs done and so on and so on.

Get a scalpel and a straw. I'm sure Chipolata would oblige.

You need to get yourself a rich older man.

For me, I have 3 or 4 main areas of focus and if someone offered me free surgery, I would seriously think about taking it but I have to remember that what I see in the mirror is not what is real which is really hard because I will never see what others see so I don't know if what I see is real for sure.

Surgery is offered to some people with BDD as a last resort and it's rare for it to work. In those circumstances they are backed by a psychologist and have it on the NHS but it is very rare. That's why they encourage not to have surgery. You can end up doing more harm than good. Look at Micheal Jackson. Some say he has BDD which is why he had so much done to his face.

Sadly there is no law preventing someone with BDD having surgery privately.

I totally understand that.

Surgery goes wrong all the time. It's seriously not even worth considering, in my opinion. Even if you look like a flipping bulldog's arse.

Mm, yes. You're right. As always. DAMN YOU. *shakes fist ... but does so thankfully*

Yeah, cos there's something in that fist, isn't there?

I agree. Though I don't think it's wrong because it can *go* wrong. It's just wrong. Also, it'd end in an nose, legs, boobs, lips and arms race...

Everytime I'm writing a post, something brilliant is happening and I miss it. :(

Yeah I'm opposed to it for many reasons too.
(Aside from corrective surgery after an accident etc, which obviously should go without saying!)

Might be.

Of course.
