What's he doing there?

How often have you seen a beloved TV character in the show, I mean we know they're all actors, but still it's not right is it?

My worst example was Tom Baker. You're Dr Who, you're not supposed to be shagging a fat bird, with your bony arse flapping in the air in Lifes and Loves of a She Devil.

Or the soft porn career of David "Night Rider" Hasslehoff.

It's all wrong you shouldn't confuse your fans.

And who could forget George from George and Mildred, as a torturer in The Devils.

I was going to say seeing Mr Bronson from Grange Hill as Hitler in that Indiana Jones film, but then again, that's exactly who should be playing Hitler.

That Scottish actor who plays that timelord fella - Chris somebody or other

*shakes head pityingly*

And Admiral Ozell, he still turns up at Scifi cons with his autobigraphy.

Does he? That's quite an achievement.

What trying to sell your books, to tubby, beardy guys, some of whom are dressed as wizards?

No, turning up to sci-fi conventions when you've been dead for almost three years.

Well I didn't see him at the last gencon.

They could jsut prop him up, probably sell more books.

It felt very odd, when I was sitting in the lobby of a cheap hotel once, to see Robert Llewellyn checking in. I walked past him three times trying to furtively make sure it was him, he caught me peering on my third time past, which made me feel like a bit of a tit. I also watched Craig Charles playing pool in what was my student union bar a few years back. Everyone in the place just stood there, gawping at him, but he didnt even seem to notice; it would have got on my nerves.

I would expect that he'd be used to it by then!

Oh, and when i went to see Morrissey once, Maxine Peake from Shameless and other stuff was stood in front of me, dancing like a prat.

Frank Drebin on the bridge of the Posidon always gets me

Erm, Tony Hairs when he turns up for two minutes on Mission Impossible.
