Same here; but such a precise figure (2,038,334) screams fabrication. And going by that figure, God actually seems to fare well (in terms of bodycount) against dictators of the 20th Century.

That's a discussion on freewill. But atheism's stance is that there is no God; so dismissing the crimes of dictators as the fault of a being that doesn't exist is not logical. If God exists, then the atheist can rightly blame God but then the atheist is wrong to believe there is no God. If he doesn't exist, we still have to explain the millions of deaths caused by atheists.
The awkward truth is that atheism is equally (if not more capable) of the misery and suffering that it blames religion for.
There are no easy answers. There's no coup-de-grace sounding the death knell for either God or Science. We pays our money and makes our choice.
Especially scientologists.

To even debate the possibility of the existence of a god seems ridiculous to me. Genuinely feels the same as debating seriously the existence of the tooth fairy.
(That is not meant to offend anyone, it's just how I feel. Which should go without saying. But I did it anyway.)
